Family Sports Photo and Costume Day

Sunday Morning, February 13, 2022

Family Sports Center 6901 S Peoria St, Englewood, CO 80112

PLEASE NOTE THAT SINCE WE ARE A USFS SANCTIONED EVENT, MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED ON THE DAY EXCEPT WHEN POSING FOR PHOTOS ONLY

The SOI Kick-Off day at Family Sports Center is a half-day event that signals we are revving up for the show! Rehearsals are to begin shortly and we will soon be knee-deep in ticket sales, apparel sales, and wrapping up ad sales.

SHOWTIME 101 – (50 minutes) The day begins with an optional, free, on-ice seminar for our first-time show skaters. Please refer to the SHOWTIME 101 page for more detail HERE

CAST PHOTOS – We will be taking group and character photos for the show program. These photos are available for purchase from the photographer. The father/daughter group photos will also be taken at this time.

COSTUME FITTINGS – This is also our initial costume fitting day! We will have hundreds of costumes to fit so, following the order of the day is crucial to keeping things on track. Not all costumes may be available, some will get to take theirs home and some will need alterations. Please be patient as our seamstresses and costume committee works tirelessly to get it all done!

**Please note the costume fittings location change. Costumes will now be fitted in Skybox 2 Room and NOT the Arapahoe Room.

PARENT MEETING – We will hold our major parent meeting at the same time the costume fittings and photos are taking place (don’t worry moms and dads, we will have our older skaters chaperoning our younger skaters). This meeting is crucial and will cover many items as we approach rehearsals, show week, and show weekend. You don’t want to miss this!

VOLUNTEER SIGN-UP – Our amazing Volunteer Coordinators will be on-site to help you choose the best volunteer opportunities that fit your schedule. They can also answer any questions you may have.

COMMITTEE TABLES – Our SOI Committee Members will be available to answer any questions you have about rehearsal schedules, apparel orders, tickets, program ads, and more.
