Before you Begin

This form is for 2026 Skater Registration for Showtime on Ice for Learn to Skate (LTS) and/or ISI skaters ONLY.

There are a few items we would like you to keep in mind before filling out your registration form. This form is long, please make sure you have time when filling it out.

Please enter ALL information exactly as you would like to see it on the cast list, apparel, and show program.
Please take the time to enter all information accurately. Please avoid using autofill. PLEASE DO NOT USE ALL CAPS OR all lowercase. It adds extra time and work for volunteers to process your entry.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SKATERS FOR SHOWTIME ON ICE

LEARN TO SKATE and/or ISI participants ONLY: The skater must be currently enrolled in Learn to Skate classes at South Suburban Sports Complex and/or Family Sports Center. We will be checking to make sure skaters are enrolled.

Equal Edges

Is your skater an athlete in the Equal Edges program?

If you are an athlete in the Equal Edges program your skater may be cast in the First Half OR the Second Half of the show. You will find out when the cast list comes out in November.

Skaters previous Showtime on Ice experience*

If you are NEW to Showtime on Ice there will be a mandatory meeting we would like parent(s) to attend. This meeting will go over information about SOI and allow for a question & answer time. Location, Date and Time are TBD.

Show Participation (LTS)*

Only skaters in the Learn to Skate program at South Suburban Sports Complex and/or Family Sports Center are eligible to participate in Showtime on Ice. I understand that as a learn to skate student, my skater will be placed in a group of skaters with the same skill level in the FIRST half of the show.

Show Participation and Cost

Each skater will pay a registration fee upon completing this form and will pay the balance in January 2026. Each registration includes ice time, rehearsals, show weekend, choreographer/coach fees, costume(s), a show program, videos of the show, and an autograph session with the guest skaters on the last day of the show.

Learn to Skate/Basic Skills: $310 ($200 at registration and $110 due 1/15/26)
The cost includes a DCFSC LTS Program with USFS Membership. If you already have a USFS membership your cost will decrease on second payment.
If your balance is not paid you run the risk of not being able to pick up your costume and/or get on the ice when rehearsals start.

My Learn to State skater will be testing for USFS Pre-Preliminary Singles before auditions (last test date is 10/10/26))*

You must register in advance to take the USFS Pre-Preliminary Skating Skills and Singles tests.
Please consult with your primary head coach if you have questions regarding your skater’s level and testing.

Eligibility for BOTH halves of the show.*

I understand that if the skater tests for, and passes, the USFS Pre-Preliminary Singles test that they will be eligible to be cast in a group number in BOTH halves of the show.

I understand that I will be billed the additional cost to be in BOTH halves of the show after proof of passed test is submitted.
