Volunteer Information
Showtime on Ice is a not-for-profit venture that is a subsidiary of the Denver Colorado Figure Skating Club. Aside from our Directors and Choreographers, the entire show is put on by parents and community volunteers.
Each family has required volunteer hours to fulfill during the show. ALL families are expected to volunteer.
- Families with skaters Pre-Preliminary and higher are required to volunteer (10) hours.
- Families with Learn to Skate only skaters are required to volunteer (6) hours.
- If families have both LTS and Pre-Pre or above skaters their volunteer hours will default to (10) hours.
Reminder everyone signed off that they read the updated volunteer policy when they registered their skater for the show. If you need to review the policy – including the required hours and fees (both increased this year) – see the 2027 Registration Guide and Casting Criteria under Volunteer Policy – coming fall of 2026.
Volunteers are the backbone of this show, and your dedicated time will ensure that our kids have the best show experience possible! We also have options for those willing to go a little further and be more involved with the show at a subcommittee level. We are always looking for parents to bring their skills to the table.
