WaiversShowtime on Ice Cost/Refund Acknowledgement and Waiver*There is a $85 fee for the adult skater number collected at the time of registration. Payment is collected by PayPal or Stripe online. If the Show is canceled PRIOR to Audition Day (October 26, 2024) -100% of the deposit will be refunded. If the Show is canceled AFTER Audition Day (October 26, 2024) – 50% of the deposit will be refunded. Due to the fact that costs have already incurred. If the show is canceled any time after November 1, 2024 – 20% of show registration fees will be refunded. There will be no refunds issued to skaters who withdraw from the show for any reason. Yes, I acknowledge Code of Conduct and Social Media Acknowledgment and Waiver*Skaters and parents/guardians must recognize that participation in all the activities associated with U.S. Figure Skating and Showtime on Ice is an honor and privilege that carries certain responsibilities. They must agree to fully abide by the rules and guidelines set forth by U.S. Figure Skating and Showtime on Ice. Behavior and Respect Showtime on Ice skaters and parents/guardians are expected to show respect for himself/herself, other skaters, show directors, show choreographers, show junior choreographers, staff coaches, Showtime on Ice Committee members, show volunteer leaders and rink management personnel. Complete cooperation and appropriate behavior are expected during all rehearsals and performances. This includes: Compliance of all rules and SafeSport guidelines posted in locker rooms. Compliance of all backstage rules including, but not limited to; no jumping, spinning, or practicing backstage during rehearsals or performances, misuse or mishandling of props during rehearsals or backstage during performances. Skaters and parents/guardians are expected to abide by all club, rink and USFS SafeSport policies during all Showtime on Ice activities – auditions, practices, rehearsals, etc. For specific club policies, please see Code of Conduct/SafeSport protocol from DCFSC as well as US Figure Skating. Disregarding the Code of Conduct may result in the skater being asked to observe rehearsal from a hockey box or some other appropriate action. This will be left to the discretion of the directors/choreographers and/or Showtime on Ice committee member(s). Repeat code of conduct violations or severe one-time violations will result in the expulsion of a skater(s) from the show. Code of Conduct violations by parents and/or guardians will also incur consequences including, but not limited to, a ban from attending rehearsals, SafeSport reporting and/or expulsion from the show.
