Rehearsals

  • Please review Directors Notes and reminders at the bottom of this page before checking the Rehearsal Schedule. Watch for emails for any changes or updates prior to each rehearsal date.
  • Remember to check the Cast List for your roles/groups. Please Note: All skaters in every story are required for each rehearsal for that story, except where stated on the schedule.
  • Parent/Skater, Denver Synchronicity and Theatre on Ice rehearsals are listed in the Rehearsal Schedule.

Rehearsals begin on Saturday March 22

Skaters and Coach Choreographers during 2024 Rehearsals.

Reminders regarding rehearsal attendance, code of conduct & safety protocols:
  • Skaters are expected to know the rehearsal schedule well in advance. We have a limited amount of rehearsal time so we expect all skaters to attend all rehearsals. Rehearsals begin the weekend of March 22nd and runs through the show weekend.  A commitment by the skater to attend rehearsals for both leading parts and group numbers is required. If the skater must miss a rehearsal, it needs to be communicated to the SOI Performance Directors in advance and be excused.
  • Rehearsal attire will consist of proper skating clothes and tidy hair.
  • There may be time spent standing around and waiting during a rehearsal. Skaters are expected to pay attention to coaches and choreography.
  • Only skaters cast in the show may be on the ice during and around rehearsal times unless given permission by a director or show committee member.
  • Respect the props and follow all directions and rules stated by the Backstage Coach/Manager.
  • Safety on and off the ice is a major concern. Skaters are expected (no exceptions) to follow cues and their set choreography. At various times, there may be small groups and soloists on the ice. The timing of this detailed choreography is carefully designed with safety and show appeal in mind. It is imperative that skaters pay attention to activity going on all around them during rehearsals and performances. Non-compliance will not be tolerated.

Refer to the full Registration Guide on the Parent/Skater Info webpage for more info on attendance, code of conduct & safety protocol.
